The Gränges Finspång factory has a proud history that dates back to 1922 when aluminium rolling started.

In 1972 Gränges Finspång shifted production focus from can stock and building sheet towards rolled aluminium for automotive heat exchangers which is the main product still today. In 2022 a decision was made to further make investments to increase capabilities to also produce aluminium foil for batteries. The electrification of the automotive industry is creating an additional demand of flat rolled aluminium products which complements the current business well. The product segments that the Finspång factory delivers to includes; heat exchanger materials, building sheet materials, battery casing materials, battery foil materials and common alloys for the distribution business.
